After multiple plan changes due to snow and permit issues, I settled on a simple overnight to Wolf Bar on the North Fork Quinault. Located along the Sol Duc River in magnificent Olympic National Park, Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort is on the “edge of the backcountry in the heart of the Olympic National Park” with hot spring pools and access to many hiking trails.
